Ben is the founder of 4 Paws For Ability and worked as a service dog for 8 years before loosing a year long battle with Degenerative Mylopathy. Piper and I wish that we had met Ben but he passed away long before we got here. We have seen pictures though and let me tell you, he was as big as we are small. He was regal, sleek, black, and noble. We are told that the spirit of Ben watches as every child meets their service dogs for the first time and as they graduate. He should be proud! He is responsible for the creation of generations of hope and love in each service dog who graduates. Please take time to read about Ben on his page. We take a moment of silence each day in memory of Ben. I know we could never walk in his paw prints (well I guess we would fit all 8 of our joint feet into one of his foot prints) but we try to keep Karen's heart as happy as he made her!

TIA	STRYKER
Tia is a wonderful young Black Labrador Retriever Mix born January 10, 2009. A rescuer in Kentucky found her in a shelter and brought her up to us. She is a happy girl who will do well in the program.	Stryker is Quest's brother. They have two brothers Journey and Phoenix and two sisters, Kita and Kenji. Stryker takes after his Mom, Boo. In fact at this time it is hard to tell them apart at first glance but Stryker will soon tower above his Mom. He was the first born and is by far the oldest! Stryker was born February 26, 2007 and his Mom is Boo and his dad is American/Canadian Select Champion Witmer's Jamiroquia.

HOBO	ERAGON
This is Hobo. He is the father of MJ's pups. We are not quite sure we like Hobo right now as he is partially responsible for that furry crew of white monsters which have taken up residence in the back of our house. It was okay at first, they were smaller than us but now they are bigger than both Piper and I put together and just WAY to peppy for us! Hobo is really a nice boy. He has always been polite to us so I guess we will forgive him for this gang of hoodlums he produced. We will be happy when THEY go to the prison program and then we will work on kicking Boo's pups out as well. Really now they are 5 months old. It is time for them to get a life! Hobo's brother is Hero they were born 7-5-2006.	Eragon is a member of the Eragon litter. They are wonderful Lab puppies donated to 4 Paws by their owner. BD: 4-24-2009.

PIPER

Okay, so I am not really in training but this is MY web site and a girl just has to show off when she gets a new dress, right? Don't you? Bet you can't wait to get home from the store and try the new clothes on so someone can see you! So, I don't do those AKC shows anymore, I have to keep up my skills. You never know when I might decide to go out for America's Got Talent, American Idol, or the Miss America pageant! I am sure you would text in your vote for me and with America behind me there is no telling how far I can go!!!! They will be starting a Piper Fan Club and it all started here!

This is flyer. Karen Mountain in Texas sent him here to be a service dog. He is only 4 months old so he has a lot to learn. This weekend he stayed with us at our house and had a great time but he was a little afraid of Indy the Great Dane. He does not know she is scared of us little Papillon's! Lego is a 4 month old little Black Labrador Retriever girl. She was born January 19, 2009. Her former owner did not realize how much time and effort was needed for a young, energetic Lab puppy so they brought her to us.	Frodo is a member of the Fun begins with "F" Gang. My name is Chloe and I came to 4 Paws at the age of 2 days. Someone found me and decided it best to bring to to the shelter instead of leaving me for my Mom. The Lab x Bloodhound puppies we acquired have done so well in our program we decided it was the perfect combo for this kind of work. Mouse is a wonderful Bloodhound and we hope she will produce many wonderful puppies for our program!

Loki is a year old Curly Coat Retriever. Loki was rescued from the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center in Dayton. We are excited to begin to work with this shelter in obtaining suitable dogs for our program.	MY PARTNER IS NICHOLAS !!!

FINIAN	CADBURY
Finian is a wonderful, sweet Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier. His owner waited years for his arrival as his breed is hard to come by and are known to be hypoallergenic. However, after one week it was clear her dog allergies were too severe to even live with Finian and so she donated him to 4 Paws. His birthday is 8-22-2009.	Cadbury is a member of the I love chocolate Gang. He is a wonderful Yellow Labrador Retriever and he was born 9-9-2009.

CHEWBACCA	HOOCH
Chewbacca or Chewie for short is an English Mastiff who was donated to 4 Paws. She is a wonderful, sweet girl who we know will be big enough to handle some of our kids who just need a very big dog!	Hooch is an English Mastiff who was donated to 4 Paws. He is a wonderful boy who we know will be big enough to handle some of our kids who just need a very big dog!

DADE	MIAMI
Dade is a sweet, gentle boy. He is a Standard Poodle donated to 4 Paws by his breeder. He came to 4 Paws with his sister sporting a special Poodle haircut called the Miami so they are the Florida Litter. His birthday is 4-29-2009.	Miami is a sweet Standard Poodle born 4-29-2009. She and her brother, Dade were donated to 4 Paws by their breeder. They had a haircut called the Miami so we gave them Florida name.

CRUZ	GIGI
Cruz is a sweet Golden Retriever. When his family was split by divorce there was no room for Cruz anymore and he was returned to his breeder. Mervar has donated puppies in the past and knew Cruz belonged with us. His birthday is 11-5-2008.	Gigi is a sweet, little Poodle. Andre' is a sweet Boxer Mix puppy who was on his way to the dog pound when someone intercepted and brought him to 4 Paws instead. His birthday is 7-21-2009.	Bella is a White German Shepherd mix. She was brought to 4 Paws when she grew so big yet maintained her puppy behavior. Being a puppy in a big body can certainly be frustrating at times especially when training has not been done. This is Paco. We call him Paco the Taco dog because he was brought to 4 Paws by a man from Mexico who barely spoke English except to say, "He good dog. He like children. We no can care for him.
